About Midden	English (USA)
The Midden is the place where threads come when they aren't politely discussable on the Steps, or other mailing lists. There is only one rule on the Midden - reputation. What you say here can and WILL be noted by people. Go ahead and say "The King is a Fink" or what have you. Just keep in mind that people will remember you, and what you said. Free speech DOES have a price, and that is people responding to what you say. The Midden has also created a "rule zero" for every other mailing list on antir.sca.org - if it was on the Midden, it doesn't go on the other mailing list. Taking a Midden post to Steps will get you banned from the Steps. Permanently. Just don't do it. Other than that, talk about whatever you want. Using Midden
To post a message to all the list members, send email to midden@antir.sca.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Midden
Subscribe to Midden by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
