From BergdisT at fiendwic.org Sat Jan 26 02:59:30 2008 From: BergdisT at fiendwic.org (BergdisT at fiendwic.org) Date: Fri, 25 Jan 2008 23:59:30 -0800 Subject: [Antir-dates] Welcome to the list Message-ID: <479A77E2.18164.34A979B0@BergdisT.fiendwic.org> This list for Seneschals, Barons & Baronesses and Royal Patrons in the Central region is now fully subscribed with all of the above. It is my hope, and the wish of the Crown as of last Fall Crown Council, that this list can be used to discuss problems with scheduling events in areas where there are enough branches to make conflicts a significant problem. This is clearly the case around Puget Sound, and may be the case, to a different degree, in other parts of the region. I hope that we can discuss, and eventually propose to Kingdom Calendar, an event conflict policy that will allow for all branches to have the events they want, on a date they can live with, and without any group of branches having too much domination over the calendar. For more specific conflicts, I hope that we can discuss those in smaller groups for now. I doubt that Vuncanfeldt, for example, is as concerned as Aquaterra with when Dragons Laire's Yule event will be. There is a separate email list just for such issues in the Puget Sound area, called the PS_Dates list. Those of you in that area should be represented on that list as well. There is a Puget Sound Dates discussion on the Ursulmas schedule at 3 PM on Saturday. This was originally called the Noble Estate meeting, but Baroness Rosamund, our gracious hostess, was changing it to something more descriptive. Representative of all branches in the conflict area around the Puget Sound region are invited. The representative can be a Baron, Baroness, Royal Patron, or Seneschal, or any combination. All are invited. I will be bringing the list I have compiled to date of specific events and dates from the branches who have replied to me or who have gotten information on the Kingdom Calendar website. I hope we can discuss any specific conflicts and negotiate any date problems for the next year. Bergdis, Baroness of Madrone and email list Admin
