As was posted here last Fall Richenda Lions Blood will be stepping down
at May Crown. Applications for the position are due by the 15th of April.

Lions Blood is the primary submissions Herald for An Tir. The position
is being redefined to reduce the work load somewhat. The main tasks
Lions Blood and LB's deputies have are to:
   - collect submissions
   - publish internal letters of intent for comment every month
   - collect internal commentary
   - decide which submissions go on to Laurel and which ones need more
work and notify submitters of the fact
   - publish external letters of intent every month
   - respond to commentary on external letters
   - notify submitters of Laurel's decisions in a timely manner
   - maintain all kingdom submission files

As you can see this is a lot of work and can not possibly be done by one
person. At this time Boar Pursuivant deals with the internal letters
and notifications. I will be working with the new Lions Blood and Boar
to redefine which tasks are done by who - including the possibility of
adding another named herald to the staff if needed (and available).

One thing that must be emphasized about Lions Blood is that it is a time
critical job. The work must be done every month without fail.

If you are interested in applying please send your resume, SCA resume,
and a statement about why you would be a good Lions Blood to
black-lion at antir.sca.org and lions-blood at antir.sca.org.

In Service to College and Crown,
Lord Christopher Thomas
Black Lion Principal Herald, An Tir
