Order of the Valkyries is a replacement for the Order of the Valorous Warrior which we cannot have, obviously. For the Vikings, Valkyries carried off "valorous warriors" who had died from the field of battle to Valhallah, lucky them. Seemed like a suitable substitute to me.

Pierrot mask... it is an accepted SCA heraldic charge and therefor usable as an order name. As for a masks suitability for Personas... I guess you'd have to be an actor to see the connection. I see people with wonderful personas as playing a role... and being an actor myself, saw the similarities between persona development and character development to be strikingly similar, a lot of the research is identical. But as some people may not view their persona as an actor's role, we are dumping the idea. Why did I want a Pierrot Mask? Coolest looking Heraldic mask... and was tired of all the awards names starting with a color. Lol.

Mask idea has been dumped and research still chugging away for this one.
