Thank you for that excellent reference work. It's now in my "favorites" file. :-)

BTW, I notice the last definition is "(f) as surname" and the last citation is " 
    (f)    (1194) in /Pipe R.Soc.n.s.5/   240:  Johannes Sanguin," so it seems 
it was used as a name element.
