 Sir brand has completed the climb again this year.
 There is Still time to donate!!
AND 
Time to make me cough up some money too.
I challenged Wyewood ,Stromgard and Three Mountains to donate a year or
two ago 
circumstances interfered with that plan. 
NOW I Challenge  ALL of AN TIR to donate. 
Johann  the forwarding fellow, Will donate $1 for every $4 donated  from
An Tir
up to $500.(maybe more I might have to work over time )

Next  year I might even get off my ... and climb with him.

Now to Sir brand 

Sir Brand (one of ~4,000 climbers) did the climb in 14 minutes, 35
seconds (69 flights. 1,311 stairs)
So far his team has raised $1,072.00 and would love to bring in over
$2,000 this year.

Since the event, I have continued my training by climbing another
13,540 Stairs as of this writing.
(my goal is 200,000 stairs by the next climb) 


I sent bunches of facts, except for one.  "Why is Brand doing this and
why should SCA people care?"

Answer: Many SCA people we know have been lost due to Cancer.  Many
more have been hit with this disease (either by having it or having a
loved one suffer with it).  Add to that the story of The Squire at War
(Holding Yet His Sword) which is why, in particular, I do this.  The
