I see what you mean by having problems with the
posture of the hounds.  Yikes.  But I likes a good
challeng, I does.

Per saltire vert and azure, four hounds in anulo
passant sinister argent.

(I've no idea if that could work or not, but I know I
could draw an emblazon from that.)

One other point, the hounds are not readily
identifiable as such.  They could just as easily be
horses to my eye.
