I stumbled upon it as I was searching for "Heraldry: Sources, Symbols and Meanings". Does anyone feel that this would be a good addition as it is only about $10?
Get it. It's one of the first decent heraldry books I ever purchased
and I still love it. It's got almost everything the big Neubecker
has, and unlike most books on heraldry is not English-centric.
There's a couple of pages on shield shapes over the centuries broken
down by country that I've found invaluable in showing how someone can
personalize their heraldic display, there's a _lot_ of actual period
stuff pictured, and it's just a very good book all around.
