Remember rule X.2:

Simple armory does not conflict with other simple armory if the type of 
every primary charge is substantially changed.

Canice's device and your client's device are both simple and have 
completely different primary charges, so there's no need to count CDs.

You should say *what* has changed tincture when you're counting CDs.

One CD for changes to the field, one for changing the number of primary 
charges, one for changing the secondaries, and one for adding the 
tertiary charge group.

You checked against all trees with rounded shapes, not just oak trees, 
right?
