Lord Owen has caught the one direct, absolute conflict. (Rats, beaten to
the punch! ;-) )
Here are a few other near-misses to the original proposal. All of these
are clear both by their fields (X.4.a.i), and by X.4.j.ii, *if* the
spur-rowel and fleur-de-lis are considered "substantially chang[ed]
type[s]" of charges from the existent devices. (There are a number that
are cleared by X.4.j.i, which I'll spare you from).
# Bella Caterina Malatesta
* The following device associated with this name was registered in
March of 2003 (via the West):
Barry wavy azure and argent, on a chief argent three crosses
crosslet fitchy sable.
# Juliana de la Rokele
* The following device associated with this name was registered in
December of 2002 (via Lochac):
Gyronny Or and azure, on a chief argent three rook's wings sable.
# Moira MacDonald of Dunskahay
* The following device associated with this name was registered in
September of 2002 (via the East):
Sable, on a chief argent a rose purpure between two roses sable.
Keep these in mind if you make minor changes to your proposal.
NB: Moira cannot be cleared by X.4.j.i, as less than half the group has
changed tincture.
So, given that fleurs-de-lis are a substantially different type of
charge from crosses crosslet fitchy, rooks' wings, and roses, Owen's
suggestion would work, I believe.
Hope this has helped. :-)
