and a chief embattled Or.

At least, I'm guessing it's a sea-dragon?  Did your client mention what 
sort of monster this is?

The relationship of seamonster to base is decidedly odd-- it seems to be 
overall, though it isn't over *everything* since the chief is missing 
out on the fun.  I'd usually expect a beast or monster to be walking 
along the top edge of a base (or perhaps swimming along it, in the case 
of certain waterfowl).
