Greetings! I am Viscountess Ysabella Dolfin and I will be your W/AT
autocrat this year (Tip your waiter! I'll be here all weekend!), with
Master Duncan Vitrarius as co-Autocrat for this event.
W/AT 2008 will be at the Gold Beach site (same as W/AT 2007). The plan
is to try to keep in a single location for the forseeable future so
this war can grow and be "all it can be" (and since the Yreka site is
about as popular as boils and the plague).
4th of July falls on a Friday in 2008 so this will be a 5 day war,
from Wednesday thru Sunday. Master Sir Brand will be hosting a Lukemia
fund raising tournament just in case two full days of Alden-style
scenarios are not enough fighting for our West and An Tirian
champions! The war scenarios will be published online as soon as
Duncan and I can get up to the site with the MIC and lay them all out.
We will have a two day A&S tract run by Baroness Sabrina de la Bere.
There will be a web page up and running soon. There will be no
preregistering for this event, land will be on a first come first
serve basis (with land being reserved for the Royal encampments of
course). You can send a representative for your household to grab the
land you need when the site opens on Wed.
If you or your group plan to have events and happenings you want
advertised during the war, please let me know and they will be
included on the web page, in written advertisements and on an
informational board at Gate.
Feel free to chime in with suggestions and so forth!
