 and thank you guys and girls from the Antiri CoH for considering coming to
out West Coast Voice Heraldry Collegium (WCVHC).

As an informational point, we are almost done with the hotel contract and
the very second we are, I will post details, so you can all make you plans
to come down...after all, we want the whole west coast to play with.  we can
play with ourselves any old time.
No wait, that's not what I meant.  Okay, well you know.
moving on...

So, also by that time, do to the dearth of volunteers, it looks like I will
still be in both office, yes I am trying to be all heralds to all ppl.  By
June I will still be Baldric Herald (Education / Training Herald and
Heraldic Secret Police) but will hopefully be turning over Sable Swan with
just a one-reign extension to the original term.

So come one down to the West in March for the WCVHC, or as we are calling it
here, The Wack-Vack.

For those of us headed down to Golden Rivers in March for the voice heraldry
mini-symposium, Baron Wilhelm is the herald who so graciously invited An Tir
and Caid heralds to join the West for the event.
He'll not be Baldric by then, but should still be Sable Swan (that's
Principality Herald for Cynagua), and we can congratulate him then.

 *So, it feels a little like hubris to do this, but for those of you that
were not at the October Matins meeting, and whom I have not already told:*

*Their Majesties have invited me to join the Order of the Pelican, and I
have accepted.*



*The elevation will take place at 12th night, in Hauoc and Ginevra's final
court.*

*For that ceremony, I am planning to have an honor guard of heralds march
me, both senior staff and journeyman heralds.  Ahead of the ceremony we will
have a bunch of regalia for folks to use and I would like to be surrounded
by as much green and gold as we can muster.  Just as we say when one herald
does something bad it reflects on the entire college, I want this something
good to reflect on the entire college.  If you have any questions, please
feel free to ask here, or offlist: wilhelmtheherald (AT) hotmail (DOT) com
If you know ahead of time that you can and would like to be in the
procession, please let me know, so I can track you down on the day of.*

*Also, there will be a vigil Friday night at the hotel at 12th night.  I am
planning on beginning at 7 pm.  It will be open to all peers from 7 to 9 pm
(with a little squiggle room) and Pelicans only from 9 to midnight--sitting
royalty may of course come at any time.  I know that style of vigil is a bit
old school, but I think of this as a really big step and would like to hear
from the orders, but as much from the one I am about to join AHEAD of time
as possible.  There will be a book to leave written thoughts in as well; and
you can always find me at events ahead of 12th night to express your
thoughts…but writing them in the book would be keen!*
