Smile, definitely, and then take an opportunity to educate.  "It's
Arqai, there's no u because it's in a Mongolian spelling and in
Mongolian the stand-alone q sounds like <this>."  And keep smiling
because you've had the opportunity to inform someone about your
persona's culture and I don't know about others but learning about
other people's personas' cultures and time periods is one of the
greatest pleasures of being in the SCA for me.
