If I'm reading this article correctly, if she used this form for her 
first name, she would need a gaelic byname most likely using the format 
listing parental names and that combining it with her preferred "de 
Carrighow" (or other placename) would not be stylistically correct.

That was my impression as well.

Any luck finding a closer version to Carrighow?
