Greetings all!
I thought I would give my favorite heralds first crack....I have 4 books I am going to be selling on ebay, if no An Tir herald is interested.
They are:
Boutell's Heraldry - rebound in faux leather at some point, this is the 1958 revised version, revised by CW Scott-Giles, Fitzalan Pursuivant of Arms. Excellent condition. Crisp, clean pages, blue marbling on edges.
A very tattered, and wounded, (but not by me!) Histoire du Blason et Science des Armoires, by G Eysenbach. Imprinted in Tours in M DCCC XLVIII (Someone PLEASE figure that one out! 1888?)). It is in French, of course, beautiful plates, pages are in really good condition, it is the binding spine of the book that became detached over time.
Heraldry Ancient and Modern, Boutell and Aveling. No date, but the preface is dated 1873. Very good condition. Tight, clean pages, nice illustrations.
An Introduction to Heraldy by William Berry, London, 1810. Cover and spine a bit worse for wear, but pages are in great condition.
For anyone interested, please let me know if you want to see pictures of the books. Shipping will be from Key West.
