I went to the LoAR for March 2000, which would hold Eirikr inn kengr's 
Acceptance, on the off chance he might have given a blanket permission 
to conflict; after all, that would've saved a bit of bother, right?

So here's what the LoAR had to say:
Eirikr inn kengr. Name and badge (see RETURNS for device). (Fieldless) A 
trident Or .
The badge is clear of Bedivere de Byron, Azure, a serpent entwined 
around a trident palewise Or . There is a CD for fieldlessness, and a 
second CD for the deletion of the snake, which, because it is as large 
as the trident, is a co-primary charge.

Seems to me, that means the first form of the proposal would also not 
conflict with Bedivere de Byron. :-)

There's still Eirikr inn kengr and Alexa of Krasnadar, of course. :-/

Though the second form of the proposal (with the goutty de sang) is 
clear of everything. :-)
