We really need to get that stupid 'or' out of the definition. Glossary
of Terms says, "Green sepals, stem, leaves; purple or red flower". I
don't know where they got red. Anyway, either 'vert flowered purpure'
or 'proper flowered purpure' works if the exact tincture matters.

A shamrock was too complex of a design to be fimbriated, so I'd imagine a leave may be too. (Anybody got a precedent for that or know if I'm completely wrong here?)
RfS VIII.3., no precedent needed.

<cough>
Different or different? How different? One CD can still leave a
conflict, you need substantial difference before you can eliminate the
need to look at other flower types.
> > There are 182 devices with 2 or more thistles. That would be a good place to start looking for some conflicts. Most of them will easily be clear due to field difference (only 25 are proper thistles on argent fields) and primary/secondary charge groups, tincture changes, and placement on the field. I don't have time to go through and check, otherwise I'd post my findings.
Not a bad conflict check guideline, though, thanks.
