Greetings Ithra fans!

Ithra is continuing to serve An Tir and Tir Righ, and is growing stronger!
We have several sessions that are in the works, a few of them are going to
begin registrations any day now!

The Ithra web site is making some minor changes to better serve you, thanks
to (web) Master Jean-Louis!

>From the home page: www.ithra.antir.sca.org You can see one great new
feature -- smack dab in the middle is a box labeled "Ithras currently in the
planning stages" right under the Registerable sessions. Now you can plan
ahead to go to sessions well in advance! Or contact those Chancellors and
see if they're looking for instructors! And volunteer to teach!

And you want to see what credits you have already earned? Click on "Student
Records" right under the box or go to:
http://www.ithra.antir.sca.org/studrecs.php You can look yourself up by
your legal name or SCA name (Hint: click "contains" by the search box and
type in your last name--there is a pull-down menu that will come up with
several options. If that doesn't work, assume someone might have misspelled
your last name, and try your first name or SCA name. If it still doesn't
work, contact your local Chancellor --or me-- and we'll do a more extensive
search).

Want to see the core credits earned? When you pull up your data, click the
box labeled "core" and all the General Required, Sciences Required, and Arts
Required classes will remain. You can use those as a check list and compare
it against the lector requirements.

If you wish to see what is required in order to earn a Lector degree, visit
the web site page with degree information:
http://www.ithra.antir.sca.org/staff.php#degree

Want to volunteer to teach for Ithra? There's an option for that, as well!
There isn't a big, complicated process to volunteering to teach a class.
Like so many things, it's a simple form to let us know! Also, you don't
have to be an "expert" to teach, but a willingness to share what you know.
Many people just want a taste of something to find out if they want to know
more. If you know how to make a t-tunic successfully, teach the non-sewing
crowd! Go to http://www.ithra.antir.sca.org/classap2.php You'll need your
password and User ID for that.

Lost your password? Your User ID? Contact your local Chancellor (or me)
and I can look it up for you. I can also change it to something that is
easier for you to remember rather than the crazy case-sensitive gobbledygook
that the program automatically assigns you. If you have taken classes
before, chances are you're in the database--do not create a new file for
yourself. (I think I darn near wore out the "merge" button already.)

And, as always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact your
local Chancellor (or me) and I'll be happy to answer them for you.

In service to Ithra,
Helene de Navarre, GdS, Red Flame of Tir Righ
Chancellor of Ithra, Borderlands
Shittimwoode Ithra, March 22-23
Aquaterra Ithra, April 5-6
